Hotel Agli Alboretti - Venice

The room was small but very nice and confortable (bed was vey good, nice balcony, very quiet, tea in the room). Goog breakfast and nice place to take it. Personal very kind. Also enjoy the place very close to nice and interesting places. I would stay again.

It was convenient and close to all the canals in Venice. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Value for money.

Small rooms, uncomfortable beds (hard), mosquitoes in room, lots of things needed attention. Burned out bulbs, electric socket not working, fridge not operating at check-in. Seems we had to bug the staff for items needed.

Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful convenient location away from the madding crowd.

I wish I could have stayed longer in this lovely little hotel in Venice. Perfectly located a short walk from Accademia vaporetto stop in the beautiful quarter of Dorsoduro, right near the Guggenheim and and easy walk to San Marco, Agli Alboretti was a good find. The staff were helpful, internet worked and room was comfortable.

It. Is located between two boat-stops (Zattere and Accademia) in a neighborhood with many restaurants and museums. The breakfast is good and the room air conditioning is easily set to your liking. The desk helped with all our inquiries and they sell stamps to. We would go back.

Superb location.

No flood defences at all. Arrived at hotel as they were still mopping up the restaurant from heavy rains and flooding the day before which meant the hotel stank for some time. Reminded us of filthy public loos.

Comfortable, friendly and idealy situated for Vaporetti at Accademia and Zattere.

Single room price of 130€ /night for 6 nights was more than some of my colleagues were paying eleswhere.

Aside from the very nice staff, and the plentiful continental breakfast every morning, the LOCATION of this hotel just can not be beat! We arrived by train, so from the train station simply took the Vaporetto (I think it was the #2 red) line to either Academia (left toward the restaurant, then right and one long block down on the left) or Zattere (straight ahead on the right). Nice street. Quiet. Great little restaurant one block away. I will be returning, and I will definitely use this hotel again.

Small lobby--but who spends time in the lobby anyway? Outdoor cafe-style restaurant was closed, which was a bit of a disappointment since it was mentioned in some travel blog twice. But the table and chairs were still outdoors, so there was a place to sit at night while waiting for everyone to meet up. There is no room safe. Not a big deal for us because we had our tsa-approved paddlocks for our luggage, but without that it would be a concern if you travel with all the expensive techo tools: iphones, ipads, ipods, and mobal intl phones. Agli Alboretti was clean and safe... still, no sense tempting fate.

Alboretti is really nice and cozy hotel in quite centre of Venice. It is easy to find and almost all attractions are close. Staff and service is very good level and all speak English very well.
